Stolen because I couldn't resist. And I love quotes.

Step 1: Pick out 15 movies you love.
Step 2: Pick your favorite quotation from said movies.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what movies the lines came from.

1. "You know what else everyone likes? Parfait."
2. "Oh, real smooth. 'I'M AN OGRE! RAAAAR!!'"
3. "Won't you please make way for a very special guy?"
4. "The drinks? Right. ...oh. Riiiiiiiight."
5. "No king! No king! La la la la laaaa la!"
6. "We're going to get old walking across this thing."
7. "Look at this. I'm so ticked off that I'm molting!"
8. "Then we must leave her to die."
9. "You want me to trust the hunches of a man whose brain is powered by LEMONS?"
10. "I call it a cutie mark!"
11. "Well, it wasn't a crowbar."
12. "Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side."
13. "Would you like to stay forever?"
14. "And...he took my BOOT!"
15. "It kinda rides up in the crotch."

(Hint: 12 of these are cartoons. Apparently I never grew up.)

In the real world, I quit my job and am moving back home this weekend where I wil be living in a bachelor pad with my kitties for awhile. This makes me happy.

About three months (hopefully) before I return to civilization at this point...and it can't come too soon for me. All my friends there seem to be drifting apart from each other and me lately, and I'm worried that I'll lose them completely if I continue to stay up here. Plus I've made a total of one friend in Powell River after nearly 8 months living here. Of course, I believe that the quality of the friendships I do have more than makes up for the lack of quanity. But still, it's kinda depressing how shy I still am about making new friends. >_<

It's easy and comforting to pretend that everything will go more or less back to being normal after I return, but really it's hard to say. Everyone seems to be pretty secure in their current life, and a lot of my old friends don't really get along with each other anymore anyway...so I don't know how things are going to work out once I'm back anyway.

So. I don't usually do too much angsting in public, and I bet I'll be really embarrassed about posting this in the morning, but it helps a little to get it out there. A little whining via MSN worked nicely too. :)

So, my mom's current plan seems to be to put the house up for sale by Dec. 1. Which would put me in the White Rock area in about...March. But she changed her mind a lot, so we'll see about that. :)

Work might get a little awkward. I resigned as closer, but ALL FOUR PEOPLE who currently "outrank" me are looking for new jobs. In total, about half the people are planning to quit. I don't wanna be senior staff ;_;

Yeah, that's about it.

PS: Changed my LJ around. It's pretty!

I don't know how many months I've had this journal without posting in it once, but I'll break it in with this quiz, at Cristy's request.

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was insecure and in constant need of reassurance.

Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets.

Your risk of cheating is low. Even if you're tempted, you'd try hard not to do it.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.
